I meant more that he thought his story was believable and people would rally around him. People started poking holes through his awful story within hours of the details coming out. Legally, as of now, yes he has gotten away with it. His career and reputation have a serious blemish on them which is nice. Hopefully that retard faces some sort on consequences though
