I'm a lifer over at Cigar Weekly. Our folks are very similar to the CBid guys, with more than a few crossover members in the past. Our traffic is significantly down, but the folks are all top-notch. I have made some lifelong friendships there. Even slow, cigar discussions are still friendly and quite informative.

My friends mostly call CBid "the devil site" because you can get so much good stuff for not a whole lot of money that you end up paying in the end because you buy so much.

I've stayed away for obvious reasons (hint: not an OT baller.)

Though I've never visited one, I think Cigar forums are probably much like Rum forums....not nerdy enough for bourbon purists, not as high class as gin drinkers, not as popular as tequila drinkers, just a good solid group of folks who dgaf about what people think, they just know what they like and appreciate others with the same passion. At least, that's vibe I got from CBid...I imagine CW was much the same.
