It’s interesting that you think having a computer is more important than a smartphone, particularly among families who probably don’t have a home internet connection.

You’re probably one of those who think flat screen TVs are fancy in 2020.

Did I ever say that? I specifically said top of the line smart phones which run in excess of $800, significantly more expensive than a decent laptop.

Yes, because 70 inch TVs are in every home.

Laptops are cheap, significantly cheaper than cellphones. I fail to see why this is difficult for you to understand.

You can buy a laptop that can last 4 years or more that does everything they need for $350.

Are you saying that's way too expensive for even poorer American families?
