Yea, id say it was about 50/50. Safeties generally are a secondary priority, and with the amount of OTs, CBs, WR and QB's in this draft, he was getting pushed down.
There's probably still some question. But he at least showed his physical attribute match what he put on tape in 2018, which is good for him.

Delpit will be a first rounder. You don’t go from a guaranteed top 10 pick to the second round unless something severe happens, missing tackles isn’t one of them. Some team is going be stuck on the film from 2018 and take him in the first.
