I just sprayed mole/gopher repellent on my yard and it did the trick. It’s made by a company called Victor and attaches to your hose. Lowe’s and home depot sell it.
If you like your neighbor it’s gonna be awkward because the moles are just going to move to that yard.

I used that spray one summer. They would leave then come back in two weeks. It’s supposed to be something they don’t like the smell of.
OP good luck buddy. I couldn’t get rid of them. I tried everything. I went all Caddyshack trying to rid them from my yard. I dropped so much bug and insect killer on my yard the whole neighborhood probably has cancer. That seemed to work the best by trying to take their food away. A cat or something like a rat terrier can get them but I travel for my job so a pet was not an option. I moved closer to town but I bet those moles are still giving the new owner hell.
