I'll save up for one of those. I just bought a third bike (SS steel gravel bike) and got it way less than my budget, so I was just looking at using the remainder. That trainer I linked is 30% off through 4/15, so it brings it down like $350 for a smart trainer. I get that the direct drives are better though.
On the direct drives, will I have to buy an additional cassette that matches my bike to install on the trainer?

Some come with a cassette, some don't. Cassettes are (relatively) cheap, though.
