Depends which echo chamber you subscribe to.
Apparently, after years (if not decades) of a secret cabal of scientists and media plotting in dark rooms to steal your rights and install a all powerful government hell bent of forcing you to share a bathroom with some alphabet soup person, they finally decided to tell some slight, slight version of the truth based on scientific data and factual observations.
How were any of us supposed to know this would be the ONE time? I know I’m shocked.
