Bought a Garmin when I first got my boat. I was able to use it right out of the box with very little help from the manual.
Upgraded to more expensive model in Lowrance. Greek! It wasn't that I couldn't learn to use it but it wasn't very intuitive and I was constantly pulling out the manual.
Upgraded again, this time back to Garmin. Again, easy to learn. Very intuitive menus.
