Forget a chiro, buy a $100 inversion table. If it’s a herniated disc, as mine was, you will feel immediate relief.

Find a good one and go to them for immediate relief. Long term I would find a PT. But I’ve been where you are now and felt 100% better after having a chiropractor adjust me. I just wouldn’t do that long term. And as many have said make sure you find a good one if so.
TLDR: quick fix to ease pain more immediately use a chiropractor, long term find a good PT. Good luck

Ortho doctor in weeks.
Does the Ortho have a PA? If so see if you can get an appointment with the PA sooner. The PA can get the test and meds you need.

Can tend to increase inflammation. Be careful with that

Is there relief to be gained by seeing the Chiropractor today
Absolutely yes. May take a few trips but yes.
