College basketball generated 600+ million dollars last season. So when these opposing fans and writers want to ask us if I feel proud that a 20 year old kid MAY have gotten a bunch of money to play a sport that Chandler Parsons is paid 25 million dollars a year to play. Yeah I don’t give a shite.
This moral high horse crap is so ridiculous.
Rigging ACT, steroids, circumventing eligibility, those things are corrupt. Those give you an actual advantage.
Paying a player is against the rules, but it’s a farrrrrrrr ways from something I’m going to ever look down on. I wouldn’t do my job for free and I generate <<<<<<<<<<< money than Jevonte Smart. Just looks at how much missing March madness just cost them. This ain’t a school provided extra circular, this a business, and business is about money.

It’s immoral not to pay the players for their service IMO. The NCAA created artificial rules in order to continue the myth of amateurism in their own self interests and against the interests of college athletes. frick that Dick
