So, you believe that Pat Forde is just making this up? So, Pat Forde is lying and throwing dirt on Alabama, Arizona, Louisville, and LSU because he hates all of them. Unlikely. What is more likely, is that Pat Forde has some "inside" information from the NCAA. That is what reporters do. They develop relationships with "insiders" to get information. I think it is possible that HBO has that "inside" info as well, which is why they decided to include the WW stuff. Otherwise, HBO looks really bad if it turns out that WW is innocent.
Just a quick reminder about the "new/revised" contract WW was FORCED to sign "The 36-year-old Tennessee native will also accept a termination of his contract if any Level I or Level II NCAA violations are discovered by LSU or the NCAA infractions committee."
It has been stated on this board how "unusual" it was for a BB coach to sign a contract like that. I agree with a previous post that much of this stuff was/is known by the LSU administration. That is why he was FORCED to sign the new contract.
