So what does the latest news on NYMT mean? I own like 19k worth of stock (now worth like 4k).
Does that news mean they are going to fail? or does it mean something else?

My educated mind makes it look like they are filing paperwork to delay their mortgages and finance payments because of all of this, taking advantage of the government bailout options......
the scared side of me is like "holy shite they defaulting?"

Fat Bastard,
Does this mean they are cutting everything they can in order to reserve capital and survive? and that possibly things may return to normal eventually?
What ETFs do you look at?

Unfortunately I’ve been doubling down on this but it is not looking good.

I am just hoping they are able to survive and maybe get back to where they were price wise (div be damned) just so I can get out without losing my arse at this rate.

Thanks brother.
Would love to pick your brain sometime.
I have a side hustle that all money goes to investments to build up income. Always looking for guidance.
Thanks for your insight.

Hope you hung in there.
Also, thank you for bringing this to my attention. Up big on it so far, but is there any concern this is going to eventually go to zero?

As you can imagine, the damage was catastrophic for leveraged ETNs linked to the performance of mortgage REITs. MRRL and the UBS ETRACS Monthly Pay 2x Leveraged Mortgage REIT ETN Series A (MORL), its sister note, have both seen their share prices drop more than 98% and are now being forced to liquidate.
