H1N1 had a mortality rate of 0.02%. The most optimistic mortality rate I've seen on COVID-19 is 0.4% (with estimates ranging up to 3%). Do you think this could factor into Fauci's differing responses?

Using this logic that must mean the 12,000+ that died in the US from H1N1 didn’t matter as much.
