Hydroxycholoroquine (Plaquenil) + Azithromycin (Zithromax aka Z-pack) appears to be the most promising treatment.
They are pretty popular drugs that have been given out like candy prior to batflu so I expect we have a decent supply (I’m sure that will change though if they do work) and are probably not hard to mass produce.
Not a doctor, but i believe plaquenil is pretty well tolerated by most people if you don’t have heart problems. Even if you don’t, taking both it and zpack for very long can mess up your qt intervals and kill you. It’s not something you want to have to do if your 70+.
