Read an interesting opinion piece the other day about how Corona has exposed how full of shite our government is about stupid regulations. TSA...it's now safe to bring bottles of hand sanitizer larger than 3.4oz. Interest on government backed student loans? Well, turns out they can kill that interest at the drop of a hat. Minor offenses leading to jail? Nah, apparently now it's cool to appropriately keep people out of jail for minor offenses. Police helping enforce civil evictions? Suspended now so why did we need them before. The list goes on and on.
Point being, the bureaucracy, red tape, and stupid regulations are completely arbitrary and are easily suspended when shite hits the fan. If they want to put up temporary hospitals, it could start tomorrow with no red tape.
