Wife would scream and wake me in the middle of the night, because I would forget to drop the seat while I am half awake. As a result I am waking up twice, and the second time is me pissed so not falling back asleep. I started thinking back on this episode and gave it at try. Now, admittedly, I sit to pee in the middle of the night. It's oddly liberating, and I get to go back to sleep without any more disturbance
