Does stop recruiting really mean stop recruiting?

I understand no face-to-face contact, but I know Saban loves using the computer to reach his recruits, so does this mean he can not contact them in any way?

The money saved on recruiting/travel should go toward billboards near the high schools of the kids we are recruiting.

No. There's a saying 'Some people talk to you in their free time' and 'some people free their time to talk to you' learn the difference. When Coach O was recruiting K'Lavon Chaisson he turned up at 4 am for an in-home visit. Recruiting is fairly simple half the time recruits want to know that the school really wants them and they aren't just a backup in case you miss on a 5 star.
