Nobody hates that fat, lazy frick more than me, but is it possible that he's a few years older than we originally thought?

if he is, that record he broke would have to be changed. he broke mantle's record of youngest player to hit a homer in the world series. i believe he was 19+, double check me

I don't know about the record, but he was 19(allegedly ) and he hit 2 in 1 game in '96. Regardless, he is a very, very old 31.

Andruw's only asset was his bat speed. He used to be able to pull any fastball.

Now that his bat speed is starting to decline (as well as his footspeed), he is nothing but a pretty good defensive outfielder.

I don't think he's older than reported but the sudden decline in numbers makes you wonder about certain enhancements. Really, his avg. isn't really down all that much, though. And a lot of his struggles could be attributed to injury.
