no. H1N1 didnt spread globally. also H1N1 already had a vaccine available in 2009 and a fatality rate of 0.01-0.08% compared to coronavirus at over 2%

People really ought to stop quoting fatality rates without the proper context or the proper understanding of thr metric in the first place.

I feel like everyone who says mort rate of 2% or over needs a fricking asterisk to make people away this figure is only for anyone 60 and above with underlying health issues.
