And you never stated what I don't understand about "how disease works". There are all kinds of diseases.... if everyone lives on their own island than the chances of spreading diseases (human to human) goes down greatly.... so what? Modern civilization doesn't work by everyone sitting at home. Once Fall/Winter come around, it will all be coming back.

You save this type of action for doomsday diseases, in this case the dooms day will be the over reaction.
