Yeah, there is no difference between taking incredibly temporary measures to reduce the community spread of a novel virus versus having the government seize the means of production and distribution of industry . . .

You should probably start by learning just a little bit about basic macroeconomic structures before trying to tie any idea like socialism to disease prevention.
Singapore, who has freer economy than the US, was somehow magically able to institute temporary measures to control the spread of COVID-19 without plunging to the depths of Marxist-Leninism.
