Analysts typically aren't anything to get excited about in general. Logan coming in is a good thing though. He was a hell of a football player for us and was solid in the league for a few seasons. He was a great leader leader and a bright dude too. He certainly can help out in game prep.
As to the nepotism claims, CEO never coached the guy. I'm sure being a former player got his foot in the door, but I trust Ed when it comes to anything involving the D-line. In short, it was a good hire.
