I wanted to ask a similar question. Brought my almost 6 year old son to see Iron Man (after I had already seen it) so I knew to cover his eyes in a few spots (the times the Humvee were attacked) but the rest of the movie was fine.

What about Hulk?

Are you seriously asking if a PG-13 movie with a huge angry green monster is suitable for a 3 yr old?

Yeah it's fine for a 3 year old. I don't remember there being much if any cursing and no real blood or anything. I think it should be okay.

I'm not upset I was simply asking if it was a serious question. I would not take my three year old to see a PG-13 movie. Three year olds (most) can barely differentiate reality from fiction. Perhaps a 10 or 11 year old there is room for that judgment-- but that is just me.

Ratings provide a general guideline and there is room for interpretation, but I sat next to a four year old during "Saving Private Ryan" and she spent a good portion of the movie in tears. Clearly some parents' judgments leave a little to be desired.
