You misunderstand the point I made in that post. I will not yet opine as to whether you did so intentionally, because I frankly have no idea who you are. It is entirely possible that you simply do not have a very good understanding of the legal issues related to THIS thread and THIS specific case.
This thread arises from oral arguments in a specific case, related NOT to a law banning abortion (your “murder” argument), but rather a law regarding procedural requirements for facilities which provide abortion services).
Yes, the “murder“ question is a significant part of the OVERALL abortion debate. Personally, I think that terminology is moronic, but the issue is indeed an important part of the debate.
As to THIS case, that is simply not an issue. The state of Louisiana acknowledged that abortion is (at least for now) legal, and the legislature came up with a set of policies and procedures which nonetheless attempted to curtail it.
The legality of that effort is the issue in THIS case. And that issue will be resolved, at least in part, based upon comparative medical risk.
Good Lord man.........just talk like a normal person. In trying to show you are more educated and intelligent, you are actually doing the opposite. We all think you sit around with a Thesaurus, dictionary and Westlaw.
