The lore they have established in the previous Doom has me pumped.
I like how they retconned some angry marine into the unstoppable Doomslayer and gave it some real story.

It's only a $5 value. You get DOOM 64, Doot Revenant skin, throwback shotgun skin, and a bonus campaign master level. The pre-order bonuses aren't great but I want to play the game Day 1. If I didn't, I wouldn't be paying full price as games drop drastically in a matter of months.

So looking at the standard and "deluxe" editions, what are the single player ad ons they have planned?
I've heard they're focused on hell leaders but will they continue where the main game leaves off?

FWIW all the Doom 2016 paid DLC was eventually made free and rolled into the base game for everyone, because id is cool like that.

Because it was all tacked on MP trash no one played. None of the DLC for DOOM 2016 was single player related IIRC.

Yeah which I'll likely never play. I don't buy DOOM for MP.

The arcade mode was DLC, not sure if it was ever locked behind paid DLC at any point though.

Is there a good place to read the lore? Or maybe a good youtube video breaking it down? I finished the previous Doom about a month ago and really enjoyed it.

yeah but none of that was single player stuff. this doom will have 2 pieces of campaign DLC that will likely run 19.99 a pop, so the deluxe saves yall $10. up to yall if yall want to just get it now or wait for discounts in the future
I got 2 collectors editions a while back and sold one on ebay for $350, so i basically got the collectors edition for $50 (actually a little more since ill have to pay shipping to the buyer on release day).

Interesting developments with the coronavirus canceling basketball tournaments. I will surely just be playing DOOM Eternal all day next Friday instead of going out to watch the NCAAT.
