Although never having seen him play, I’d say they’re comparable definitely.

However, if Mickey does not blow out his knee (thank you Joe frickin DiMaggio) I don’t know if anybody could match the numbers he would’ve put up. He’s the most physically gifted baseball player of all time in my book and it’s a damn shame his career took the path it did.

I'd make an argument for Griffey as the most physically gifted.

How the hell is it DiMaggio's fault that Mantle stepped on a drainage cover while backing him up on a fly ball?
