Did he ever come on board? Just wondering because I didn't see an official announcement, just that he was expecting to join the staff. Any other word on anymore analysts being hired to replace Roy Anderson and Kevin Cosgrove? Thanks

I mean what do we actually need 13 analysts for currently? Sure we can game plan but all they do is break down film and the spring games don’t start till April. We have like 10.

Lane Told O about all of the analysts on Saban's staff after they beat LSU 10-0 in 2016. O had no idea what he was talking about, but immediately began hiring analysts.
Now our fan base is obsessed with the comings and goings of our analyst, many of whom we never knew their names until they got hired away to full time coaching positions

Derek Shay is supposed to be a Graduate Assistant coaching the Tight Ends. Some people like to know this stuff. The analysts free the coaches up to concentrate on the players and game planning.
