I was at that game too. Roethlisberger wasn’t terrible considering they had less than 50 yards rushing that game and LSU had over 200. He went 22 for 34 for 195 yards, 1 TD and 1 int.

Love did have a terrible game against us. He went 15 for 30 for 130 yards with 3 ints and no TDs. Granted, those were two very different LSU teams.

My main issue with Love is how many interceptions he threw this year. Major regression. Although career wise, Love and Mahomes both threw 29 interceptions during their college years. Although Mahomes had 93 TDs to Love’s 60.

If CSP takes him at 24, I’d be okay with it. But I don’t want to trade up for him.

Didn’t he have a new offense and new, horrible skill players?

I couldn't remember what his stats were from the game but that doesn't surprise me. Had no clue who he was until I listened to the pre game show while me and my dad were tailgating and Mike Detillier was talking about he was potentially a 1st round talent.

There were moments during the game I thought to myself damn this dude does look like a pro QB. Had one of the most beautiful spirals on the ball i had seen and could throw lasers effortlessly. Poised in the pocket despite going against a solid Nick Saban defense.

This Love talk is getting interesting. IIRC, someone on here said that the extreme drop off on Love's numbers were because of great depletions in offense personal and a coach change over. So there were reasons for the bad numbers. Mind also Marino had a great junior year only to have a lack luster senior year. If CSP pulls the trigger on Love it'll trust him.
