IDK, we did Burgundy>Rhône>Provence and it was beautiful. We were more interested in food and countryside scenery than wine.
Champagne and Paris could be done together, but that stops sounding chill at some point.
I’ve seen photos of Rocamadour, which is just east of Bordeaux, and that area looks amazing.
Sure it’ll be awesome no matter where y’all end up.

A whole week would be a long time in Champagne country. We went to Reims on the high speed train as a day trip from Paris. The cathedral there is one of the most beautiful and historic churches you will see anywhere, and we visited several Champagne houses, including Veuve Cliquot and Pommery which are right next to each other. We would like to go to Epernay next time, but I think I would be Champagned out after a week. If you are going to stay for a week in wine country I would rather immerse myself in the top notch Bordeaux.
