I need some help finding a 3rd party bookkeeper for a small buisness, does anyone have any recommendations?

Also what is a good pay range for these services?

Would only be 3-4 hours a week

What do you need done? 3rd party is only going to be able to good for certain things. If it’s very easy and clear for instance, running reports, collections, etc.

If you have even mildly complicated statements, invoicing, etc. it’s hard for a 3rd party to do correctly and you won’t know until tax time it’s fricked up.

This obviously depends on the situation and who you hire as your 3rd party. I'm a CPA and my co-worker and I do bookkeeping for multiple small companies outside our realm of firm employment, and I can tell you some of the people we perform services for would not be able to function without us.

I’m in Baton Rouge

Mostly what I’m looking for is general bill paying, reconciling accounts, and minimal reports on P&L

I would possibly be willing to do it for you. I'm currently doing the same thing for a small dealership in BR. If you are interested, I can send you my resume and references.
