Baseball game today

This baseball game today is looking more like LSU baseball is supposed to look.

This is what we all want to see. It's still just too soon to tell what we are as a team for sure. This is a lot of fun though.

Well, you see, the result of today's game is the kind of baseball we all think we should see out of LSU every game. Since we've only played 8 games, it's not possible to know if we will make it to Omaha just yet. Lastly, I fricking love winning, man. You know, it's like better than losing. This is fun.

Yep. Our lineup will look completely different after CPM finally figures it out. There's always 1 or 2 guys that seem to come out of nowhere & become a staple in the lineup.
Lot of baseball to play before we get to that point. Pitching is looking very encouraging though. Much better than the last couple of years.

Yeah the season is young and you won’t know what you got until SEC play, but if you are telling me that getting pissed off about losing to a middle school pitcher is a major crime then I guess I should be arrested

Getting pissed off about a baseball game in February isn't a good thing. We're 5-3 & haven't lost a weekend series. Through 8 games, there's no reason for panic yet.

I think most of the level headed baseball fans on here aren't millennials. Getting pissed off about 1 loss to a bad team is very short sighted & usually what younger people do.
Mature people tend to look at the entire picture & hold off judgement until the end of the season...having fun along the way. Not fly off the handle b/c of 1 game, & say that CPM needs to be fired.

Millennial checking in, I'd like to think I'm level headed. Not calling for CPM's head after the Nicholls and EKU losses seems to be the qualification.

That's why I said most of the level headed fans. You're probably wise beyond your years. That's a good thing, b/c most your age lose it when we lose to a lesser opponent.
Some people can't see that the objective is to make it to the CWS...not beat Nicholls in a midweek game while throwing Johnny Wholestaff & still in the process of tinkering with our lineup.

Fair enough. I'm 29, and I know plenty of people my age are the "We should never lose to Nicholls in any sport ever" type. It's a long season.
