Where I live it's illegal to buy alcohol at a store on Sunday but it's legal to go to a restaurant or bar and order beer, wine, and hard liquor.

Makes sense.

The few places around BR that still had them got rid of them several years ago. You can buy liquor at 6am on Sunday in a gas station.

They are in place because the majority of the people in your community want it that way.

Either embrace democracy or move someplace that embraces homosexuality and heathens like yourself.

When i moved to Georgia, the weirdest blue law that I found was that no company can own more than two liquor stores in the whole state. There are only two Sams and two Costcos that have an attached liquor store anywhere in the state.

So we moved to Dallas and I went to a Spec's for alcohol and they can't sell anything but beer and wine at the Preston Hollow location because it is considered dry. Craziest thing ever!
