A few that come to mind from my collection:

Allman Brothers- Live at the Filmore East
The Who- Live at Leeds
Deep Purple- Live in Japan
Humble Pie- Performance Rockin' the Filmore
Lou Reed- Rock 'n' Roll Animal
Yes- Yessongs
The Band- Rock of Ages
Bob Dylan- Live 1966, The Royal Albert Hall Concert
Hawkwind- Space Ritual
Pink Fairies- Finland Freakout
The Nice- Live at the Filmore East December 1969
Ten Years After- Recorded Live
Uriah Heep- Live
Argent- Encore: Live in Concert
Mothers of Invention- Just Another Band from L.A.
Velvet Underground- 1969 The Velvet Underground Live
Blue Oyster Cult- On Your Feet or On Your Knees
Grand Funk Railroad- Live Album
ELP- Welcolm Back My Friends to the Show that Never Ends
ELP- Pictures at an Expedition

Which begs the question- why do so few modern bands do live albums?? Does it have something to do with playing records exactly like their albums, or simply failure to do solos or improvise?? I miss the early 70's...
