many of our fanbase likes to say: "SLU, ULL, Nicholls, (insert in-state school name here) threw their ACE pitcher against us and we used our 4th or 5th guy"
That's actually, the furthest from the truth. They all have series games coming up Friday just like LSU. They are going to throw the best guy they can that does not affect the weekend series lineup...just like LSU.

So when we lose to an in-state school and you hear, "they threw their ACE", rarely is that ever true.

To guys at the smaller in-state schools, they want to shine when playing LSU. They WANT to WIN.
