I would actually love to see more diversity amongst the top teams in CFB annually.

Do you really believe a radically expanded playoff set-up is the only way to achieve that?

How conceivable is it that conferences would play their CCG’s the final weekend of November? That would allow for home site playoffs and not mess with the calendar. If this can be done, expansion to 8 can be done.

Last weekend of August thru November is 14 weeks. 12 games + off week+ CCG. No room for error though.

Of course not. I just think it’s the quickest path.
