Is that track record you are referring to the five straight playoff appearances from 2011-2015? The four division wins since 2005? The winning record from 2003-2018?
The Bengals were terrible this season, and were awful in the nineties. But they were a pretty decent team for almost all of Marvin Lewis' time there. This idea that the Bengals are some black hole of football is not based on anything factual.

I totally disagree. As long as Mike Brown is calling the shots and interfering they will have a culture of losing. They constantly sabotage themselves and their locker room culture. The Bengals could frick up a wet dream. A few good years because of Carson Palmer doesn’t change that. They will not be committed to winning long term. If they have a couple good years and people are in the seats, they will loaf. There are organizations that are committed or would commit to winning. Cincy isn’t one of them.
