And what happens to all the "community spirit" when the Purple & Gold Rebel flags break out across campus? And do not be naive, in today society's world, it will happen. You know all those drunk ignorant frat / trailer trash types that tail gate allover campus, drunk before 11:00 a.m? Put a van full of Southern alums next to them, & let that community spirit simmer for a few hrs. And as for Southern fans traveling well, they do not come close to half way selling out their stadium. Mostly because of ticket prices. Have they ever seen LSU's ticket prices? Put me down as a no show.

And just why wouldn't Southern fans have seen LSU ticket prices? It's really sad sitting here reading and realizing a lot of you haven't move any further out of the 19th century than your great, great, great grandparents have. Smh... You talk as if LSU is some far away island or something.

Do you even slightly understand that the majority of those favorite LSU players that fans drool over. Are son's, nephews, grandsons, cousins to Southern University alums/fans. That Southern University alums have been and are in administrative positions at LSU.

All I can say is thank God my parents didn't raise me in such a shallow minded closed circle. This is why this state will never be in the forefront of anything. And why it can't get students to stay home. If this is the mindset of an educated graduate after graduating from the state flagship university. This state is hopeless.
