I take metoprolol and amlodipine. I have a nice pair of kidney stones that need to come out (but I'm having hell getting the removal scheduled) and the pain (aching pain, not the "throw me in the ditch and cover me in dirt" kidney stone pain) has ratcheted up my BP. 160/97 today.

What kind of pains u get from kidney stones? What cause stones to occur? Salt?
