You have some seriously high standards then. While she is no Ellen Burstyn, she fit in just fine for a television series that is less focused on the acting prowess and more concerned on fitting in a part and carrying the role enough to flow. She did that just fine.

I'm pretty critical and thought she was perfectly fine, especially for the caliber of the show.
