That’s only if you have a 4x4 high clearance vehicle and can drive the road to the actual start of the trail.

If you don’t have a 4x4 high clearance vehicle and are parking in the lot before the dirt road and then walking the mile to the actual start of the trail you absolutely have to have a Red Rock Pass.

I’ve hiked Devil’s Bridge numerous times and have parked at both spots. When I didn’t have my Jeep and had to park at the paved lots I can remember signage stating Red Rock Passes were needed.

Eta: unless they have recently changed it. Either way...it’s a $5 pass that you can use at multiple spots or pay $20 to have for a year. Super easy to just buy at a gas station and then not worry if the automated machine at a trailhead is working or not.
