I actually think Tony is the front runner right now. He said at the beginning he’d lay low and play different which he has impressively. Also said he’d eventually move to strike which is coming. We are solidifying his status as an all-timer and maybe the best ever.

The Sarah/Tony convo goes a long way. They were right, both Tyson and Kim are threats to win. With Jeremy’s advantage, Tony gets want he wanted with Tyson out and the latter has no idea it was Tony who suggested it. Because Sophie called for them to huddle at tribal, it looks like her plan imo.

I’m also surprised Jeremy who is pretty intuitive wants to break up Sarah/Sophie (which is a good move) but he nor anyone else are suggesting to break up Cops R Us who were presented as in control.

I think Kim is in trouble now with her idol gone. Denise is also a threat with her resume so they’ll come for her eventually. Nick/Michelle seem like possible FTC goats. I wouldn’t be suprised to see both Tony/Sarah make it to the end but the edit to me suggests Tony positively and Sarah slightly negatively. He’s in the lead at the moment. Next week will be interesting for him and could change that.

The wild cards are Ben and the EOE returnee. I think Tyson’s story was building to the family visit being a crescendo. I don’t think he wins that challenge again. As of now I’d give advantage there to Rob, Nat, or maybe Yul.

I think Jeremy sees Tony as a great shield, and Tony winning immunity made him feel more vulnerable than ever before.

Eh, I think there are a few that are playing a better game than the rest so far, but not sure I’d label any of them a front runner right now. So much can happen in the game, and the jury is always a bit unpredictable. But I do agree that Tony, Sarah, Sophie, and Jeremy have played the best games so far. Kim and Ben are nipping at their heels a little just with their respective immunity challenge performances. The rest are just kind of there, but all are still capable of winning except for probably Michelle.

There's just so much randomness that predictions like this are meaningless, IMO.

As someone who watched religiously until ~2012, it has been a bit bizarre and nostalgic watching again this season. One of the most noticeable things has been how much quicker the game is now and how much less enduring alliances are (it was also cold how the youngs systematically took out the OGs.) So my question is: after Jeremy saved his own skin last night, they tried to make it look like the jury was still judging him negatively for abandoning his alliance. Can that actually still be a thing? Or was that just a relic of the OGs? Everything seems like such a chaotic free-for-all now, I just have a hard time believing that ethic persists.

Another question: are they just giving them a lot more food than they used to? Because it seems like people rarely complain about food or the overnight conditions. I can remember back in the day when they would refrain from voting out someone they hated just because that person was good at fishing or whatever.
