so you don't think coaches sometimes bend the truth a bit? Good lord, man, a lot of what coaches say is straight PR (which is necessary, by the way).

I mean, a coach can't say they have little faith in other coaches on staff, or the backup QB, etc. They have to publicly support those guys, but behind the scenes things can be quite different.

Happens all the time. Don't put much faith in the literal public words of any coach. Half the time, it's just coachspeak.
