I personally believe that OC's get their directives from the HC and run a style that the HC is comfortable with and the personnel for. For example...Cowboys went from having a top-5 passing offense to a mid's 20's ranked offense over the course of 5 yrs w/Linehan. What changed? Personnel...they developed the most dominant OL in football with Demarco Murray and eventually Zeke Elliot. The defense also got consistently better during that time.

There is going to be a divide on this board about this hire until we see the product on the field. Before last season, we heard over and over from people here that they would "believe it when they see it" in reference to the spread. It happened and there was no doubt. For better or worse...the same will happen here and you and I won't change any minds before we see it for ourselves. Everything else is conjecture.
