Was talking to a friend of my brothers last weekend, he had just gotten back from a trip to Antarctica where he was working as a researcher
I don’t remember the exact details but he said there was an area that had pretty mild temperatures on the coast. They have a “town” set up there with bars, shops, etc for the researchers. Actually looks like that is where this temp was taken. He didn’t make it sound like this area was ever ridiculously cold, but he was only there during the summer.
Anyway just some perspective on temps down there, which can vary greatly across the continent.
