I would like to see Tim Scott run

But having the first woman Niki Haley would kill the Dems.

I don't think of him as a "conservative" like one might think of a Ted Cruz or someone like that. However, he has advanced many conservative policies like tax cuts, border security, America-first trade deals and reduced regulations.

Things change so drastically in 4+ years but I feel like Rand Paul could be a decent candidate. Hell if Trump endorses Lion Ted he even has a chance

Rand will thankfully never be President.

Romney/Ryan may team up and try again-j/k.

Vice President Pence can't be alone with a woman, no one should take him seriously

Pence won’t be alone with a woman, and anyone with a brain doesn’t blame him one bit for that stance, and commitment. No one should take him seriously? There is an obscene abundance of reasons to not take politicians seriously. For the life of me, I can’t imagine that being one of them.

Here is a dumb question. Since Boris Johnson was born in the USA and renounced his citizenship could he come back, re-apply for citizenship and run for President? He's sorta Trump like he could really piss off the liberals.

A James Woods / Chuck Woolery ticket would be cool.

Boy, if Pence ever had any ideas of running in 2024 he needs to just read this thread and save his money. I haven't read every reply, but I don't think I saw one response indicating that Pence would be one of their favorites.

For the record, I feel the same way. I like the LOYALTY that Pence has shown towards Trump, but we will need a more dynamic candidate in 2024. I do think it's strange though that a sitting VP during a popular presidency almost never gets mentioned as the potential successor. Hence, the reason why I started the thread. It is a little odd.

PS - One thing, though. I strongly disagree with the poster who compared Pence to Quayle. Pence may not possess much charisma, but he's not a lightweight. He just isn't Trump, and there's absolutely no comparison when it comes to personality or what used to be referred to as "fire in the belly."

Cruz gets my vote.I think he is combative enough and I am sure after studying Trump another term he’ll be a virtual clone.Alan Dershowitz said he was the brightest student he ever taught.
