How their top rated recruit fared was John Emery. Basically said he didn't see much time because of CEH, but was very elusive. Had a stat of .33 broken tackles per rush & .5 per catch.
Best true freshman was Derek Stingley. Called him most valuable non-QB player in terms on wins above average since PFF College was created in '14. Stingley forced tight coverage on 75.5% of his targets, which was the second-highest rate in the FBS. On those tight coverage targets, Stingley allowed just 20 catches from 71 total targets while intercepting six passes and forcing 20 incompletions.

Imagine having Tre White, Tyrann Matthieu, and Patrick Peterson come through your program in the last 10 years and none of them are your best DB in that timespan.
