The line for me is when a movie is trying to be logical. If you’re already ridiculous, set in the future, then by all means be ridiculous. But I can’t stand when a movie is 99% logical and then in some cheap way to move or conclude the plot they have to add something that’s technologically impossible or not close cause they couldn’t figure out a way to make it work. Heist movies are guilty of this, like oceans 12, which obviously doesn’t try too hard to be accurate but when the entire plot is fine up to a holographic egg, it kinda ruins it.
