Figure we can keep discussion here. This is a head-scratcher.

Yeah, Oubre is a pretty good player, with a descending contract next year. I guess they are in sell mode trying to acquire more assets?

Did any new trades happen since the first thread you started?

Traded Warren and a first to pay and play Oubre.
Suns are a mess.

What do you think you guys would want for Oubre?
Posted on 2/5/20 at 3:52 pm to Fun Bunch
Suns will be attaching a first to Oubre. Gotta clear cap space. Lol

Just reading around, and it seems like media types are hinting that every contender is calling around desperately searching for Wings, as there is a real arms race going on right now.
The Suns must see that and are trying to see if anyone comes up with something crazy.

A lot tbh. The more I think about it, I think this isn't the Suns shopping him, but teams seeing a mediocre team that has fallen out of contention with a player playing his absolute career best on a shorter deal and giving the Suns a call. With 1.5 years and his level of play, I'd expect a solid return.

Actually, that was my thoughts. Told
My buddy the same. Teams are inquiring. And they may feel that he won’t resign.
Career best: he was better last year.
As a bucks fan, I’d offer you the Pacers first and a player like Sterling or DJ.

Yeah, the real thing is he's a valuable piece for this year's playoff run and next year. On top of that, he expires the year everybody wants to get involved in FA. He's going to command a first + a prospect with some upside.

Don’t even think about it, Pelinka

Chris Haynes @ChrisBHaynes Yahoo Sources. The Los Angeles Lakers have ventured down all avenues — including a last Hail Mary attempt — to seek a path to Andre Iguodala, but it is becoming apparent that Miami has Memphis’ attention right now.

Iggy might be better with some rest but I don’t see him as moving the needle too much anymore, honestly
I guess it would be nice to have him to throw at Kawhi and PG for 15 minutes a game though

Yeah the whole appeal for Iggy from the Lakers POV is adding wing depth and experience basically for free. I’m not even sure what trade the Lakers could come up with that makes sense and also matches salaries.
I’m curious what Miami is giving up here. There’s some chatter on twitter that Winslow is involved

Pistons shopping Kennard and Suns shopping Oubre are certainly some wtf moves that we’ve come to expect from those two teams
