re: Need replacement electronic key for Honda CRV. Suggestions other than dealer?

Check to see if there’s a chip in the old key housing. My older accord has then and although the replacement keys are available for cheap, they do not have the chip. If you open your key housing, the chip is in an enclosed part that can not easily be accessed.
