re: Anyone ever have bursitis?

I've been in the hospital the last 2 days because i "ruptured" the Bursa sac on my elbow. Apparently, I have a bone spur on my elbow. When I hit my elbow on the wall, the spur perfectly hit the Bursa causing it to tear and "leak". I use quotes because it's not exactly how it works but it's the easiest way to explain it. With some kind of awesome luck I had some bacteria in my skin which just so happened to enter and infect the Bursa.

The result is a shite ton of swelling and pain. The only silver lining is they're giving me IV morphine every 3 hours. Hopefully I'm not a junkie when I come out the other side.
